I met Ken Haeser at my second convention in 2005 Wizard World Philadelphia. He sat across from my table in Philadelphia. Ive been a fan of the Living Corpse Comic since that day. Both being Jersey boys we ran into each other at shows an our local comic shop (STORMWATCH COMICS BERLIN NJ) for years. In 2009 Ken Haeser and Buz Hasson published a Fan art I did fo the Corpse in oil paint, from a pencil piece of Ken’s.
In 2010 Keith Thomas an I wrote a crossover comic in titled “Edgar Allan” where John from the Living Corpse is the drinking buddy of Edgar Allen Poe.
I have always been a big Edgar Allen Poe fan from childhood though my school years. I read many of his works. When the project was brought up, I was very excited to get started on this one. Went home an dug up my complete Edgar Allan Poe Book …So many ideas to start playing with. Keith’s brain went to work an came up with a great idea. Stories of a Writers Retreat Haunted by Edgar Allen himself. We are looking to get the first issue (The King and I ) into the next Trade issue of Dynamites Comics “the Living Corpse”. We have plans for many more of these issues. Hope to get them into each Living Corpse Trade issues, at the Back.
